In August of 2024, Amy and Trevor Kendall purchased ParkSide Ice Creamery (formerly Highland’s Ice Creamery) in Chillicothe, Ohio.  Amy and Trevor are Chillicothe natives and have always dreamed of owning their own small business in Historic Downtown Chillicothe.  They were so excited when their dream became a reality and they finally had the opportunity to give back to the community they love....and the visitors that stop in from various cities, states, and countries.
 
Nestled in the heart of the city, ParkSide Ice Creamery provides a quaint, nostalgic experience.  ParkSide offers more than 30 flavors of hand-dipped Johnson's Ice Cream, waffle cones made in-house, hot Amish apple dumplings from Anna Mary's Fried Pie Co. (an exclusive downtown offering), and various fun and favorable specialty sundae's and shakes.  1950's music fills the air, and diner-style seating takes you back in time.  If you find yourself in downtown Chillicothe, stopping in to enjoy a ParkSide sweet treat is a must.  It's where quality ice cream, nostalgic vibes, and hospitality collide!
